— Robert Frank"

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you describe your shooting style?

My style is all about capturing genuine moments and real emotions between the amazing people I get to photograph. During our session, I focus on your natural interactions and give you plenty of space to just be yourselves. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but never over-direct. I know being in front of the camera isn’t something most people do every day, so my goal is to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

Do you charge for travel?

I like to keep things simple for you, so most sessions don’t have any travel fees. For weddings, travel is usually included in the package. For smaller sessions, I typically only charge a travel fee if the location is more than 25 miles (one way) from my home base. If any travel costs apply, I’ll always let you know upfront so you can plan accordingly. No surprises!

Which form of payments do accept?

For easy payment of your deposit and package I offer many options. Such as Cash, Check, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Credit Card (All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Fee apply)

What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?

I understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. I never pack up before the contracted time, and moreover, I'm not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, I will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like me to stay, I will charge the rates specified in your contract rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.

What happens if we are running late to our shoot? Will you extend the shooting time?

If a client is late I will do my best in the time that is remaining to get everything we need, If you want to extend the session time, we can negotiate it.

Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?

Yes, I serve clients all around the world. Destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations as: baggage fees, hotel accommodations (typically 2 nights but dependent on the length of the event), rental car if needed, vendor meals for the day of the event(s). Contact me for any other questions.

If we cancel our booking will we receive our deposit back?

Please note that deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, as they cover lost bookings and any expenses already incurred in preparation for your session. However, I understand that life happens and unexpected circumstances may arise. Whenever possible, I’m happy to work with you to reschedule and find a new date that works for both of us.

We would like to keep our photos private, so can you not post them on your website or social media?

I definitely want to respect your privacy as much as possible and as such will agree not to post your names when posting online or on my website if you'd like. If you would like to add further privacy than this, I offer for purchase what's called an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) for $350. This will make it so that I will not post or share any of your photos, ever, anywhere. As a photographer I have to be able to show current examples of my work to continue to do business (and attract potential clients like yourself), so, if a couple wants to guarantee I don't show any photos, which could cause me to lose business, I must charge for this option.

Does your studio do headshots, individual portraits, family portraits, commercial photography, or other types of photography?

Yes, I have experience in many fields of photography. Feel free to contact me.
